KTC introduced the M27U6 27-inch 4K QD-Mini LED monitor with 144Hz mode
KTC has brought to market the new M27U6 monitor — a 27-inch model with QD-Mini LED backlighting and support for both highly detailed 4K and high-frequency gaming mode. The device is priced at 1,499 yuan (about $212) during the pre-order period.
The monitor features a Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 and supports two modes of operation: 4K at 72Hz or 1080p at 144Hz. This allows you to use the display for both professional tasks and fast-paced gaming. The IPS matrix provides wide viewing angles (178 degrees) and stable color reproduction.
The QD-Mini LED backlight features 1152 zones of local dimming — one LED per zone. This greatly enhances brightness control and contrast. The monitor supports HDR1000 with a peak of 1000 nits in HDR mode, and 400 nits of brightness in SDR.

KTC claims professional factory calibration: 98% DCI-P3 coverage, 99% sRGB and ΔE<2 color accuracy. Color space volume reaches 148% and color depth —1.07 billion shades thanks to the 8-bit + Hi-FRC scheme.
For gaming, there’s 2ms GTG and 1ms MPRT response times, adaptive sync and dynamic overdrive with five levels of adjustment. There’s also a Dark Enhancement feature that improves visibility in shadows without over-lighting.
The monitor has a full set of ergonomic adjustments: height adjustment, tilt, swivel, portrait mode, and a 100×100mm VESA mount. The OSD is controlled via a five-position joystick and proprietary MCC software.
Connectivity ports include DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a standard power input.
