HP has revealed the fastest AI laptop, the OmniBook Ultra

HP has unveiled the new OmniBook Ultra laptop, which is positioned as the world’s fastest AI-enabled personal computer. The laptop is powered by an AMD Strix processor, accompanied by a powerful NPU for efficient AI tasks.
The device features a 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2240×1400 pixels and up to 300 nits of brightness. The OmniBook Ultra 14’s performance is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors with AMD Radeon 800M graphics and NPU performance of up to 50 TOPS, with the company managing to increase that by another 5 TOPS during internal testing.
According to HP’s announcement, NPU performance outperforms competitors such as Apple’s M4 by 45% and nearly doubles that of the M3. These results were achieved through a partnership with AMD.
HP OmniBook Ultra also features a 9-megapixel AI-enabled webcam, Poly Camera Pro apps and Windows Studio effects, Wolf Security, Thunderbolt 4 port and will be certified under Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC program.
The laptop will go on sale in early August for $1 450 (128 000 rubles).
