Dynabook has introduced the new Portege X40L-M notebook, which combines high performance and light weight. The portable computer features a rugged chassis with military-grade protection and a diverse set of interfaces.

The device features a 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels (16:10) and up to 400 nits of brightness. Depending on the configuration chosen, the laptop can be equipped with Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, Core Ultra 5 135H, Core Ultra 7 155H or Core Ultra 7 165H processors. RAM capacities range from 8GB to 64GB and SSD capacities — from 256GB to 2TB.

The laptop’s interfaces include two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-A and HDMI 2.0 on the left side of the case, as well as Ethernet, USB 3.2 Type-A, a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD slot on the right side. Autonomy is provided by a 65Wh battery. The case weighs 1.05 kg and is MIL-STD-810H protected.

The case is designed to be protected by MIL-STD-810H.
