Computex 2024: MSI introduced a desktop PC with built-in monitor – MEG Vision X AI

When people talk about a desktop computer with a built-in monitor, they immediately think of a monoblock like the iMac. But MSI’s MEG Vision X AI decided to go the other way and literally built a screen into a traditional PC chassis. In addition, they didn’t skimp on the use of artificial intelligence, keeping up with current trends.
The device is not ready for release yet, so the manufacturer doesn’t reveal any technical specifications. On the front of the computer is a large touch screen that can display various system information such as temperature, CPU and memory utilization, and can also be used for operation. Various applications can be displayed on this screen, giving you an additional vertical monitor.
The company notes that thanks to integration with MSI’s proprietary AI Engine utility, the display can act as an AI interface that detects active applications and automatically optimizes performance, backlighting, and sound settings for them. The manufacturer claims that the computer’s power is enough to use MSI Artist + MSI Chat to generate text and images locally, or simply set any background on the screen, changing the appearance of the PC.
The new device uses a design with hidden internal connectors located on the back of the motherboard, allowing cables to be concealed.
The MEG Vision X AI is expected to be released near the end of this year.
