BenQ has introduced the EW270Q gaming monitor with QHD resolution and 200Hz resolution
BenQ has launched the EW270Q gaming monitor, expanding its lineup of mid-range models. The 27-inch monitor is aimed at gamers who want a QHD display with a high refresh rate, but without going for expensive flagship solutions.
The BenQ EW270Q features a 27-inch IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It features a 200Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time for smooth display of dynamic gaming scenes. AMD FreeSync Premium support helps reduce image tearing and jerking. HDR10 compatibility is also claimed, and a matte screen coating reduces glare.
Color reproduction is tuned for both gaming and everyday use. The screen covers 90 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. BenQ offers proprietary Game Color Mode, Color Vibrance and Light Tuner modes to adjust visibility and contrast for different types of content. Visual Optimizer is available for quick image adjustments.

The interface set includes one HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and a USB-C connector. USB-C supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, data transfer, and up to 65W of power, allowing you to charge compatible laptops over a single cable. Sound is provided by two built-in 5W speakers and a headphone jack.
The monitor has a white chassis and supports tilt adjustment from -5 to 20 degrees, as well as 20-degree left and right rotation. It’s compatible with VESA 100 × 100mm mounts. Dimensions with stand are 436 × 614 × 211 mm with a weight of 4.64 kg, without stand — 372 × 614 × 60 mm and 4.01 kg respectively.
