AvtoVAZ has a new car – Lada Iskra already on the website
By ForGeeks A page dedicated to the new line of Lada Iskra cars has appeared on AvtoVAZ’s official website. The model is now available for preview, and dealers can already make an application for purchase. However, the exact date of the start of sales has not yet been announced.
The website lada.ru has a separate page, where all modifications of the novelty are presented: classic sedan, practical station wagon and all-terrain version in the body of a cross-universal. The main attention in the brochure is paid to the dark-red version of the sedan, although the brand is not spoiling with a lot of new photos. The company’s press service calls the Lada Iskra “a car that opens a new niche in the Russian market.”
Modern platform and concept car-inspired design
According to AvtoVAZ, the new model is based on a global platform and inspired by developments in the show car segment. Visually, Iskra stands out with recognizable features: strict geometric lines, trademark “rhombuses” and X-shaped front lights. Rear lights also received an original design. At the same time, the headlights and lights retain the classic lamp filling – LEDs are used only in the daytime running lights.

New car’s notable advantages include a variety of body styles (including a rare cross-universal), high ground clearance (170 mm for a sedan), improved noise insulation and better handling. The rigid body structure and reinforced subframe positively affect the stability and behavior of the car on the road. Trunk volume remains the same – 500 liters for the sedan, and visibility promises to be one of the best in class.
The launch of mass production of the Lada Iskra is scheduled for the near future.
