“Russian Railways” presented the first train with a sauna, laundry and shower cabins
By ForGeeks Russian Railways has unveiled an updated composition of the “Pearl of the Caucasus” tourist train with a sauna car. The train will run from Moscow through the cities of Maikop, Nalchik, Vladikavkaz and Grozny, and on May 8 will make its first trip from Tyumen.
Passengers will visit several cities during the week-long tour. The lineup will include a special railcar with showers, rest areas and washing machines. The main feature will be an infrared sauna for up to seven people.
Passengers must make reservations in advance to use this car. The minimum stay is one and a half hours. This car is based on the 47 K/K model created in 1996. If this option is popular, it will be available on other routes.
In the future, Russian Railways plans to launch cars with gyms, movie theaters, cafes, music listening rooms and even theaters. These innovations will allow passengers to spend a comfortable time during the trip.
