Russian electric car Atom has received certification in two versions

The domestic Atom electric car has passed certification and received Vehicle Type Approval (VTA), paving the way for mass production and sales of the model in Russia. This was reported by “Avto.ru Magazine” on September 26.
Two versions: basic and for taxi
The certificate specifies two versions – standard and cab. The latter does not have a front passenger seat.
The dimensions of the electric car are: length – 3995 mm, width – 1790 mm, height – 1643 mm, wheelbase – 2635 mm. The claimed turning radius is 4.9 meters. The car is equipped with 17 to 19-inch wheel disks.
Characteristics and dynamics
The Atom is a hatchback with a 204 hp electric motor on the rear axle. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 8 seconds, top speed – 170 km/h.
The 77 kW⋅h battery provides a range of up to 500 kilometers. Fast charging can replenish the energy for a 100km journey in 8 minutes.

Production launch and market plans
Industrial production is planned to begin in late 2025, and sales will start in 2026. This was previously mentioned by Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov.
The developer of the project is Kama. In June, it reported on the completion of the equipment of the production site in Moscow, where the assembly line will be set up. Welding and body painting areas, as well as calibration, testing and quality control are ready for launch.
