New Russian brand Tenet showed its first car T8

AGR Holding has officially unveiled the first model of its own car brand Tenet. It is a seven-seat crossover T8, based on the Chinese Chery Tiggo 8 Plus.
The T8 model will be produced in Kaluga
The production of all Tenet cars will be set up at the former Volkswagen plant in Kaluga. The new model is an adapted version of the Chery Tiggo 8 Plus, which is already known to the Russian market.

The Tenet T8 crossover gets LED headlights, retractable door handles, a panoramic roof with a 1.2m² sunroof, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The interior includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen media system, a digital dashboard, a projection display, and a Sony audio system with eight or 10 speakers, depending on equipment. The front seats are also electrically adjustable.
Technical specs have not yet been revealed
The manufacturer has not yet disclosed details about the technical stuffing of the model. However, given the full external and structural similarity with the Tiggo 8 Plus, we can assume that the powertrains will remain the same.

In the Chinese market, the Tiggo 8 Plus is available with 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engines. The former is paired with a seven-speed robotized transmission, while the latter is paired with an eight-speed automatic.
Sales are scheduled to start in August

Sales of Tenet cars in Russia are expected to start in August 2025. The list of modifications, configurations and prices will be announced closer to the start of deliveries.
