McLaren has unveiled two mountain electric bikes – Extreme and Sport

British automaker McLaren has launched two electric mountain bikes. The Extreme and Sport models, assembled entirely in the company’s factory, are positioned as the most powerful on the market among those allowed on city roads.
The company’s Extreme and Sport models are the most powerful on the market.
The two models feature a carbon fiber frame and a specially tuned 600W motor (peak power up to 825W) with up to 119Nm of torque. This allows the electric bikes to reach speeds of up to 34 km/h, with five riding modes to choose from.
The Extreme model has full suspension, making it more suitable for off-road riding, while the Sport is considered a more versatile option with a more aerodynamic look. In both cases, the manufacturer has installed a small display on the steering wheel that resembles the side panels of their supercars.
McLaren Extreme and Sport come with a set of Pirelli all-terrain tires and are available for purchase now. The electric bikes are priced at $10,950 ($975 270 RRP) and $7 950 ($708 070 RRP), respectively.
