Hyundai has revealed the Ioniq Concept Three compact electric car

At the Munich Motor Show, Hyundai unveiled a concept of a new compact electric car under the Ioniq sub-brand. The prototype, called Concept Three is expected to be the basis for a future production model, which is expected to hit the market in 2026 under the name Ioniq 3.
Design and exterior features
Hyundai calls the new car an «aero hatchback» with «sculpted bodywork». The car has a near-vertical trunk door and signature Ioniq pixel elements on the front and rear. The basic steel gray color contrasts with lemon inserts on the windows and wheels, giving the car a «cosmic» look.

The Concept Three measures up to 4288 mm in length, making it a competitor to the electric Volkswagen Golf.
Interior: bright and eco-friendly
The interior is done in bright colors — the yellow hue flows seamlessly into pink. Instead of a large touchscreen, there is a panel of customizable widgets that the driver can adapt to his or her own needs.
The seats are bucket-shaped and upholstered in sustainable materials, including textiles made from recycled ocean waste and aluminum foam.

Hyundai has paid special attention to the digital assistant — a virtual character named &#nbsp;Mr. Peaks who introduces the driver to the car’s features and design elements.
Expected features of the production version
Although there is no official technical data yet, experts speculate that Ioniq 3 will get:
- a 400-volt electric architecture similar to the Kia EV4,
- versions with one or two electric motors,
- drive range of up to 630 kilometers on a single charge.
The production of the model will be focused on the European market, where demand for compact electric cars is steadily growing.
