At the Beijing International Auto Show, Chinese automaker Changan Automobile unveiled a new series of electric cars, including the Nevo E07 model.
According to Changan Automobile, the Nevo E07 has good off-road capability and can transform into a full-fledged pickup truck. The roof of the vehicle can slide electrically, allowing access to the luggage compartment. At the same time, the trunk door lowers, turning the electric car into a pickup truck.
The dimensions of the car are 5045x1996x1695 mm with a wheelbase of 3120 mm. At the Beijing Motor Show, the Nevo E07 was unveiled with a four-seat cabin. The cabin is controlled via a large center screen with adjustable tilt angle. The Nevo E07 is based on the SDA platform developed by Changan Automobile. The company has high hopes for it, calling SDA a full-fledged digital ecosystem with connectivity to 5G networks.
A powerful 343 horsepower electric motor allows the Nevo E07 to reach a top speed of 201 km/h. The all-wheel drive version of the E07 uses two synchronous XTDM25 and XTDM32 motors with a combined output of 598 horsepower.
The Nevo E07 has a maximum range of 551 to 1000+ kilometers depending on the battery type. The electric vehicle also supports fast charging.
