From March, WhatsApp users can add music tracks to their statuses by selecting them from the app’s built-in library. Previously, music inserts could be up to 15 seconds in statuses with photos or up to 60 seconds in videos. Now, these clips can be turned into music stickers, adding them directly to the status to create a special mood. You can also post a song as a standalone status.
A major new feature is the “Layout” feature, which lets you combine up to six photos into a collage to create unique visual content for your status. There will also be a new sticker “Add Your Own” designed to engage followers: users will be able to reply to a status by attaching their own photos. Another feature is the ability to turn photos into stickers, and change their size and shape to personalize the status.
