Vivo is preparing the global launch of OriginOS 6 with AI features and a new design

Vivo has begun sharing details about the new features of its OriginOS 6 operating system, which will be officially unveiled on October 10 in China, with a global launch on October 15.
The two published videos show key improvements: a noticeably increased interface smoothness and a redesigned «island» around the front camera. This element now utilizes artificial intelligence for a more intuitive interaction with apps.
At the same time, the interface has been redesigned to make it more intuitive to interact with apps.
The first video demonstrates quick and smooth transitions, launching and switching apps, and navigating the system. The second — a revamped notification island design that works along the lines of Apple’s Dynamic Island. But in OriginOS 6 «island» will offer additional smart actions. For example, dragging a photo into the island area in the «Gallery» app will immediately bring up quick options for sending it.
And when you drag and drop a photo into the island area in the app, you’ll see quick options for sending it.
For the first time ever, OriginOS will go beyond China and will be available to users around the world. The new version is based on Android 16.
