Microsoft recently sparked public discontent by shutting down four studios, one of which had a big future. However, that’s not the only big news related to the corporation this week.

Microsoft’s announcement of the closure of four of its studios was a major one.

Last March, Phil Spencer announced the company’s intention to launch its own app store. At this year’s Bloomberg Summit, Xbox’s president, Sarah Bond, confirmed that the company will still open its App Store and Google Play counterpart in July.
