Remote music downloads to Wear OS watches are now possible

Spotify has added the ability to download music to any authorized user’s device, including smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches. Now there’s no need to interact with the Galaxy Watch’s tiny screen – you can do it all through your phone.

To download music to the Galaxy Watch from a Galaxy smartphone or tablet, just tap the three dots next to the playlist you want in Spotify, then select “Download to another device” and tap the download icon next to the watch’s name. This works on Apple devices as well: iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. You don’t need to be physically close to your device to download remotely.
