Oppo has announced the ColorOS 16 presentation for October 15

Oppo has officially confirmed the date for the presentation of its new operating system, ColorOS 16. The event will take place on October 15, 2025 in Shenzhen and will be combined with Oppo’s annual developer conference (ODC).
What to expect at the presentation
At the conference, Oppo will unveil its new artificial intelligence strategy and detail the capabilities of ColorOS 16. The program will feature ten sub-forums and six exhibition areas, as well as an “inspiration street” that will provide developers and enthusiasts with numerous opportunities to learn about the company’s vision for software and design.

Inspiration from iOS 26 and new devices
According to Oppo’s official website, the design of ColorOS 16 clearly draws ideas from iOS 26’s “liquid glass” interface. It will be interesting to see how Oppo adapts this style, given Apple users’ criticism of readability issues.
The first devices with ColorOS 16 will be the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro smartphones. The Find X9 will also be among the first smartphones with the Dimensity 9500 processor.
