Fisker has released a software update for Ocean

Fisker has released the first 2024 over-the-air update specifically for its Fisker Ocean electric crossover. Significant performance improvements and the introduction of new features for owners are guaranteed. It’s worth noting that the update is dubbed Ocean OS 2.0 OTA, and it aims to improve the compact crossover’s efficiency by improving energy management and charge conservation, as well as reducing battery loss while parked.

The company has announced improvements in the accuracy of energy metering and trip metering, and in addition, the electric car’s design has received changes related to calibrating the interior heating and cooling systems for better airflow, improved heating/cooling performance in Earth Mode. Changes have also been made to torque performance from 50:50 to 45:55 in all twin-motor and all-wheel drive models. It should be noted that efficiency will also be improved, and it will happen through standby time management, which will allow drivers to adjust how long the infotainment system screen stays on standby, reducing battery consumption and increasing available range.
Additional features include trailer sway mitigation for safe towing and driver profiles that allow multiple drivers to save their preferences in control and audio settings. The Ocean OS 2.0 update will be available starting next week and will continue throughout February.
