Google suspends Daily Hub testing on Pixel 10 for tweaks

Daily Hub is a new Pixel 10 feature that combines a calendar, Magic Cue tips, and personalized recommendations. Google launched it as a public preview, but has now temporarily removed it from the interface to refine and improve the service.
What the Daily Hub is
The feature appeared on Pixel 10 as a separate block at the top of the screen, just above the greeting. It includes:
- weather and calendar
- “Keep these on your radar” section (with reminders from mail, SMS and Google Keep),
- media recommendations – music, podcasts, YouTube and app selections via Google Play Collections,
- themes and plans that open in the Gemini app with ready-made prompts.
The Daily Hub brings together personal tasks, notifications, and content prompts in one place.

Why Google removed Daily Hub
The company has removed the Daily Hub from the Discover feed and the At a Glance widget on the lock screen and desktop. According to a Google spokesperson:
“To provide the best user experience on Pixel, we’re temporarily suspending the Daily Hub public preview. Our teams are working to improve performance and personalized recommendations. We plan to re-launch the Daily Hub when it is ready.”
When to expect the updated version
Google didn’t specify a timeline for the feature’s return, limiting itself to “when it’s ready.” Judging by the company’s approach to Pixel Studio, which didn’t come out of previews until after the 2.0 release, users may have to wait a few months.
