Apple has launched the Passwords app on iOS, iPad, Mac and Windows

A new «Passwords» app from Apple takes iCloud keychain to a new level. At the WWDC 2024 conference, Apple unveiled a new Passwords app that expands on its existing iCloud Keychain capabilities and synchronizes your passwords across more devices. With Passwords, Apple is now releasing a standalone app to manage passwords and keys across more devices, including the Apple Vision Pro headset, as well as Macs, iPhones, and iPads. It also synchronizes with PCs through the iCloud app for Windows.
The platforms that have gone unmentioned so far? As previously mentioned, it’s Google Chrome and Android. You can also view your Wi-Fi passwords in one place and share passwords in groups with those you want to share them with.

One of the main benefits may be deeper integration with your Apple logins and family settings than other options like 1Password or Bitwarden. And Apple’s support may seem like a safer option for those scared by security breaches by other companies like LastPass.

Passwords is the only way to get your passwords in one place.
