Apple has released bug fix updates for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and other systems

Apple has released several updates at once: iOS 18.0.1, iPadOS 18.0.1, watchOS 11.0.1, visionOS 2.0.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.0.1. These updates aim to address touchscreen issues and other bugs found in previous versions.
Main fixes in the new updates
Ahead of the expected release of iOS 18.1 with new features Apple Intelligence in October, Apple has released an update focused on fixing a number of issues experienced by users of iPhone and iPad. The most significant fix addresses an issue where installing the first version of iPadOS 18 caused some M4 iPad Pro to fail to work.

The number of affected users and the reasons for the bug remain unclear, but the problem only became apparent after iPadOS 18 was released from the testing phase, prompting Apple to withdraw the update from distribution.
Also in iOS 18 there was a touchscreen issue first noticed on the iPhone 16 Pro and then on earlier models, including the iPhone 14. The touchscreen may have been unresponsive to touch, and there’s speculation that this is because the accidental touch rejection feature was set too aggressively.
