Android 15 has been launched for developers

Today, after many developer previews and public betas, Android 15 is finally fully ready. It’s ready and stable, but it’s only available to developers for now.

Google has uploaded the Android 15 source code to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), but updates aren’t ready yet — not even for Pixels. The September update, which began rolling out today for Google smartphones, is still for Android 14.

It’s likely that Android 15 on the Pixel will be released in October. At least, that’s what early leaks have been telling us.
