Microsoft Build 2024 schedule
This year’s Microsoft Build officially kicks off on Tuesday, May 21, and runs for three days. Fortunately, you don’t have to be in Seattle to attend the event. Like Google I/O last week, Microsoft Build will be held both offline and online, allowing you to keep up with the tech giant’s latest news no matter where you are.

Microsoft Build 2024: Day 1
The first day of Microsoft Build will begin at 8:30 a.m. PT or 6:30 p.m. MSC on Tuesday, and will kick off with the Imagine Cup pre-show and world championship.
For the 23rd year, the Imagine Cup honors a group of students who have created an innovative technological solution to a social problem. This year’s finalists are FROM YOUR EYES, whose mobile app uses artificial intelligence to describe images to people with limited vision, JRE, which created a slag detection system for use in the steel casting process, and PlanRoadmap, which developed an artificial intelligence-based productivity coach to help people with ADHD.

After that, Microsoft Build’s main opening keynote will begin at 7 p.m. MSC. The two-hour keynote will feature Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, CTO Kevin Scott and Executive Vice President of Experiences and Devices Rajesh Jha. While we don’t yet know exactly what the Microsoft executives will talk about, we do know that they will touch on the topic of using artificial intelligence to «transform the developer experience» and «increase business productivity across industries».

The second day of Microsoft Build 2024 will open with a second AI-focused keynote called «Next Generation AI for Developers with Microsoft Cloud».
On Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time, Microsoft’s keynote will feature Scott Guthrie, executive vice president of cloud and artificial intelligence, along with seven other people from the company’s executive team. This 90-minute keynote will focus on security and will examine the use of Microsoft Cloud to «build secure and responsible AI solutions of the future».

Microsoft Build 2024: Day 3
Microsoft Build 2024 will conclude on Thursday with live breakout sessions from 18:30 to 04:00 Moscow time. In addition to keynotes, the three-day Microsoft Build 2024 event will feature more than 480 sessions, 251 of which will be organized online. Fortunately, 175 of them will be recorded, so you’ll be able to catch up later.
The event will be free and open to the public.
