After Knight Ballister Braveheart is accused of a murder he didn’t commit, he discovers that the only person who can prove his innocence — is Nimona, a teenage outcast who may turn out to be the monster he must kill.

Leo (2023)

Leo — a 74-year-old lizard who has been sitting in the same spot for decades in a Florida school classroom with his terrarium neighbor Squirtle the turtle. After learning that he has only one year to live, he decides it’s time to break free and explore the world. Unfortunately, this proves to be more difficult than expected, as he becomes embroiled in the problems of troubled students and their cruel substitute teacher, Mrs. Malkin.

Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio” (2022)

There have been enough “Pinocchio” revivals over the past few years to wonder why Guillermo del Toro decided that another movie — was a good idea. And yet… del Toro’s pleasingly demented mind is as good a fit as any for Pinocchio. His stop-motion reimagining of Carlo Collodi’s classic tale — is a whimsical musical that breathes a surprising new life into the world’s most famous puppet who thinks he’s a real boy. With the release of the first trailer, there was a lot of controversy and disagreement. but in the end, the cartoon has been recognized by the audience.

So far, it has been a great success.

Enola Holmes 1 & 2 (2020, 2022)

The legend of Sherlock Holmes is fleshed out with Enola, the younger sister who spent her adolescence studying and experimenting with her brilliant mother in the family’s reclusive mansion. But when her mother goes missing, older brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) finally contacts her to assure Enola that he will find their mother. Enola, however, has other ideas. She’s determined to beat Sherlock at his own game.

In the second movie, which is as good as the first, Enola returns to detective work. The girl decides it’s time to start her own agency, just like her brother Sherlock. Unfortunately, she quickly discovers that because she is a female detective she is not as readily approached for help as, for example, her brother. Having failed to find a single case, Enola is ready to close the agency. But according to the law of the genre at this very moment she is approached for help by a poor girl who asks Enola to find her missing sister. However, the case turns out to be much more complicated than expected, and Enola finds herself in the depths of the criminal world of London and in the highest echelons of society.

The Sea Monster (2022)

The era of monster hunters is alive and well in the animated movie “Sea Monster.” Throughout the years, brave men have taken to the sea to wage war on monsters and make the oceans navigable. The most beloved of all these monster hunters — Jacob Holland. When little Maisie Brumble meets her hero in a tavern, she becomes obsessed with the idea of going to sea with him. That’s how she ends up on Jacob’s legendary ship. When Jacob finds her, he’s not thrilled, but soon discovers that Maisie is — a brave and helpful crew member.

Are you looking for something similar to Encanto? A collaboration between Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation, “Vivo” calls on the talent of Hollywood musician Lin-Manuel Miranda to create a new animated tale. Miranda not only provided the original music for the movie, but also voiced the main character — a magical kinkajou who spends his days being serenaded by Andres, the energetic master of the kinkajou. When a chance message arrives from Andres about a lost love, the musical duo embarks on a journey to deliver the best love song to the musician’s muse. “Vivo” — is a cartoon filled with love and kindness, generously conveying the beautiful cultural traditions of the Hispanic community and characters.

The Road Home (2021)

The Road Home — is a cool and energetic animated movie in which a group of zoo residents, led by Maddie the snake, wants to return to the Australian outback where she thinks she belongs. She is followed by Zoe’s friends, Frank and Neil — a lizard, a spider and a scorpion, respectively. Hot on the heels of the zoo, the group of reptiles and insects must do their best to make it to the distant continent in one piece. Drawing on the golden rule — never judge a book by its cover, even if it’s scaly or slimy, “The Road Home” — is an engaging story that the whole family will enjoy.
