A new version of Passwork password manager has been released

A big 6.1 update has been released on «Passwork» — the best password manager for businesses.

Version 6.1 of «Passwork» adds many new settings that greatly improve security and give you much more control over your users:

• Limit editing by administrators;
• Select authorization method for individual users;
• Reset 2FA regardless of authorization password;
• Policies for complexity of authorization passwords and master passwords;
• More LDAP and SSO customizations;

In the «System Settings» manager, you now have the option to limit admin management, set the complexity of passwords for logging into «Passwork» and disallow saving the master password to the browser’s local storage.

A number of functional and interface improvements have been added to enhance the ability of administrators to manage users:

• Select an authorization method (local password, domain password, or SSO);
• Exclude users from LDAP synchronization;
• Improved interface (added new icons of authorization types);
• Changes of user status (now you can change the status of “Administrator” or “Employee” only on the user page);
• New filters in the list of users (now you can select users with a certain type of authorization and LDAP synchronization);
• Temporary passwords;
• Improved 2FA reset;
• More security when resetting the master password;

In addition, the new version of «Passwork» is reported to have added several settings in LDAP and SSO settings. It has also made fixes that improve security, better account for users in the license and optimize the database.
