Stunning image shows an annular solar eclipse from a million kilometers away

Last Saturday, residents in parts of the United States witnessed the spectacular spectacle of an annular solar eclipse, in which the Earth, moon and sun line up in such a way as to form the moon’s shadow and a so-called «ring of fire». On Tuesday, NASA released a remarkable image of the same celestial phenomenon, observed from a million kilometers away.
At the same time, NASA published a remarkable image of the same celestial phenomenon observed from a million kilometers away.
It was captured by the EPIC (Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera) aboard the DSCOVR (Deep Space Climate Observatory) satellite launched by SpaceX in 2015, a collaboration between NASA, NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) and the US Air Force.
