iQOO Z11 Turbo is officially unveiled
Vivo has unveiled a new mid-range smartphone, the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which promises a very attractive price to feature ratio, at least in the Chinese market. The device combines a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a high-capacity battery, and an advanced AMOLED display, while remaining relatively affordable.
The smartphone gets an understated design with a flat bezel, a front camera in a cutout in the center of the screen, and a square main camera unit that houses just two modules. For the sake of cost reduction, Vivo has dropped the telephoto lens. Instead, the iQOO Z11 Turbo features a 200MP main camera with an f/1.88 aperture and a 1/1.56-inch sensor, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The front-facing camera uses a 32MP sensor.

The display diagonal is 6.59 inches. It uses an AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a high PWM frequency of 4,320Hz and peak brightness in HDR mode of up to 5,000 nits. An ultrasonic fingerprint scanner is also built into the screen.
Despite its relatively compact body size — about 7.9mm thick and weighing about 201g — and water protection, the smartphone gets a very capacious 7,600mAh battery. It supports USB-C fast charging with up to 100W, but there is no wireless charging.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor is responsible for the performance, which should bring the iQOO Z11 Turbo close to the level of flagship smartphones and suitable even for demanding mobile games.
Vivo iQOO Z11 Turbo will be released in China first. The base version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage is priced at around $344, while the top-end configuration with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage is priced at around $530.
