iQOO has officially confirmed the launch of the iQOO Z11 Turbo smartphone in China on January 15. The new product is positioned as a performance device with a focus on mobile gameplay, stable network connectivity, autonomy and flagship level hardware.

The smartphone will get the Global Esports Network System 2.0, which includes the new Thunder Z1 gaming signal amplification chip. The company claims it can reduce gaming lag by 76.47% compared to the previous generation when using 5GHz Wi-Fi, even when the signal is traveling through four walls.

According to iQOO, this bundle should provide a stable connection in competitive gaming, where lags and dropped connections directly affect the outcome. Additionally, the smartphone supports 5G and features a system of 24 circular antennas, which should maintain reception quality no matter how the user holds the device.

Navigation, screen and performance

The iQOO Z11 Turbo also gets dual-frequency GPS support, which should improve navigation accuracy. The smartphone will feature a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, focused on smooth animations and gaming content.

The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. It will come in multiple configurations, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of onboard UFS 4.1 storage, emphasizing its flagship focus.

Battery and other features

One of the key features of the iQOO Z11 Turbo will be the 7,600 mAh battery. The manufacturer claims that this is the largest battery in its size class. It supports 100W fast charging. It will be about 7.9mm thick and weigh about 202 grams.

Other announced specs include an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint scanner, a 200-megapixel main camera, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, and Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out-of-the-box.
