Honor Power 2 specs revealed: slim body, 120Hz screen and 10,080mAh battery
Yesterday, Honor revealed the design of the Honor Power 2 smartphone, and the first impression many people got was that it looks more like an iPhone than the usual Honor models. Now, insider Digital Chat Station has published on Chinese platform Weibo the key specifications of the device.
According to the leak, the Honor Power 2 features a 6.79-inch flat LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen’s peak brightness in HDR mode can reach 8,000 nits, which is even higher than the more expensive Honor Win unveiled the day before.

The processor is believed to be a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite. The front camera has a 16MP resolution, while the main camera is a dual module: a 50MP main sensor with f/1.88 aperture and an additional 5MP camera. The source did not disclose information about the sensor size and video recording capabilities.
One of the main features of the Honor Power 2 is the battery. The smartphone is credited with a 10,080mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. For comparison, the previously unveiled Honor Win with a 10,000 mAh battery fully charges in about an hour. While 80W charging may not seem like the fastest on paper, in practice, the time to fully charge such a capacious battery is likely to be quite reasonable.

The design of the device also deserves special attention. Despite the huge battery, the body is rumored to be only 7.98mm thick. The smartphone weighs — about 216 grams, and the metal frame should have a positive impact on the build feel. Digital Chat Station has also published clearer images of the Honor Power 2 in all three color variants.
At the moment, Honor hasn’t revealed the price or release date of the Honor Power 2. More information is expected to be revealed closer to the official announcement.
