Nubia has unveiled two new foldable smartphones: the flagship Nubia Fold and the affordable Nubia Flip 3
Nubia has officially expanded its foldable smartphone lineup by introducing two new devices at once. The first is the large-format Galaxy Z Fold 7-style Nubia Fold, while the second is — the Nubia Flip 3 clamshell. Even before the launch, the brand revealed almost all the specifications of the new products, so you can take a detailed look at their features.

The Nubia Fold — is Nubia’s first foldable convertible smartphone, which is the flagship of the series. It features an 8-inch flexible OLED display with a resolution of 2480 × 2200 and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The outer screen is — a 6.5-inch OLED with a resolution of 2748×1172, also at 120Hz.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite chip — last year’s Qualcomm flagship is responsible for performance. It’s aided by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is powered by a large 6,500mAh battery with 55W wired charging support.

The main camera includes a 50-megapixel main module, a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle and a 5-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, there are 20-megapixel cameras on both the main and external screens. Other features include — Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 6, IPX4 and IP5X protection ratings, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a weight of 249 grams.

Nubia Flip 3 — a more compact and affordable foldable convertible. It features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ flexible OLED screen with 120Hz. An external 4-inch AMOLED display is used for notifications, taking pictures, and other quick tasks.
In contrast to the older model, the Flip 3 uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, typical of the mid-range segment. Inside — 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and a 4,610mAh battery. The main camera is represented by a 50-megapixel module and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, while the front camera — 32-megapixel sensor. Bluetooth 6, Wi-Fi 6 and IPX4/IP5X protection are supported.

The Nubia Fold is expected to go on sale in Japan as early as tomorrow, December 4, 2025, priced at 178,560 yen (roughly $1,145). A wider launch is planned for next year. The Nubia Flip 3 is likely to be released in January 2026, and then will be available in the global market as well. The Nubia Fold is available in black color, while the Flip 3 — in white and black variants.
