Russian dealers now have Maextro S800 cars – luxury sedans, which have already received the unofficial nickname “Chinese Maybach”. The model belongs to the segment of “heavy luxury”, and the price in Russia corresponds to this positioning.
Deliveries of Maextro S800 to Chinese dealerships started in the late summer of 2025. At that time, the price range was from 708,000 to 1,180,000 yuan, which at the exchange rate at the time is equivalent to about 7.8-13 million rubles. On the Russian market, the car in stock is offered from 21.5 million rubles. At the same time, private suppliers claim that they can bring the car with the passage of all mandatory procedures cheaper – for about 16-17 million rubles. The final cost depends on the powertrain capacity and selected options.
Design, powertrain and dimensions
Maextro S800 is a large executive sedan developed by JAC and Huawei. The overall length of the vehicle reaches 5,480 mm and the wheelbase is 3,370 mm.
In China, the model is available in two powertrain options: all-electric and series-hybrid. Russia is bringing the hybrid versions to Russia – for obvious reasons related to local infrastructure and operating characteristics. The hybrid system includes a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine and two electric motors. Combined output ranges from 530 to 864 horsepower.
The manufacturer claims a range of up to 311 kilometers on pure electric power and a total range of up to 1,102 kilometers. The parameters are calculated according to the WLTC standard, which is used in Europe.
