A laboratory for testing imported cars was opened in Vladivostok

FGUP «NAMI» has launched a new laboratory in Vladivostok for mandatory testing of cars imported into Russia. The site is located on the premises of «AIT» (part of the «Sollers» group), the company’s press service reported on October 2.
Checking before registration of SBCTS and EPTS
The laboratory is designed to test single vehicles arriving from overseas. These tests are necessary for obtaining the Certificate of Vehicle Construction Safety (CVCS) and the Electronic Vehicle Passport (EVP) — mandatory documents for importing and registering vehicles.

Convenient location and high capacity
The new site is close to ports of entry for imported vehicles, minimizing the time it takes to get the cars to testing, the company emphasized.
The complex is equipped with three test lines with diagnostic equipment and systems for measuring environmental parameters, fully compliant with the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union. The design capacity of the laboratory is —up to 130,000 vehicles per year.
