AirPods Pro 3 are coming out next week, but you don’t need them right now

At its September presentation, Apple showed off the new iPhone, Apple Watch, and headphones AirPods Pro 3. The new products have interesting features, but experts advise not to rush into a purchase.
Live Translation: not just for AirPods Pro 3
The main innovation of AirPods Pro 3 is the Live Translation feature, which allows you to have a dialog in a foreign language in real time. But it’s important to realize: it’s not exclusive to the new product. Support is also announced for the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation.
In addition, Live Translation requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone – that is, an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. If you have an older smartphone, the feature simply won’t work.
Should I get AirPods Pro 3 outright?
If you’re not interested in the translation, but in new features like a heart-rate sensor or improved noise cancellation, you’re justified. But even then, it’s best to wait: history shows that AirPods get discounted faster than other Apple devices.
- starting price: $249;
- October-November discounts of up to $220 are expected;
