MTS has a smart caller ID

Number ID — this is a feature that almost everyone has now, either from Yandex or a third-party app. And now MTS has decided to keep up with everyone and launched its own feature.

The anti-spam caller ID helps users identify who is calling them. It also warns you that it’s spam and you shouldn’t pick up the phone.

The service is called Defender, and it is powered by MTS’ Big Data technology. The option will be free. You will also be able to block certain numbers in the service so that you will never see calls and messages from them again. Unwanted calls will be automatically redirected to the voice bot, after which the service will send you a full transcript of the incoming call.
