Computex 2025. Acer revealed Swift Edge 14 AI – ultra-light notebook with matte OLED display

Weighs just over 900 grams, works up to 21 hours and doesn’t glare in the sun – the perfect companion for mobile work
Ultra-lightweight yet durable
Acer unveiled a lineup of ultra-thin laptops at Computex 2025, and the main headliner is the Swift Edge 14 AI. This laptop weighs just 990 grams, but offers a full OLED display with a matte finish and performance powered by the new Intel Core Ultra (Lunar Lake) chips.

The chassis is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy – this makes the laptop lightweight, but still meets the military standard for strength MIL-STD 810H. It’s just 9.3mm at its thinnest point.
Matte OLED: see everywhere, glare nowhere
One of the main features of the Swift Edge 14 AI is 14-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and protection Corning Gorilla Glass with Matte Pro. Unlike glossy panels, this screen doesn’t reflect light or turn into a mirror, even in a brightly lit room or outdoors.

This is especially important for OLEDs: the deep black color often accentuates any reflections, but with a matte finish this effect disappears.
On the inside, only new hardware
The laptop packs new processors Intel Core Ultra 5 226V to Core Ultra 9 288V that include integrated graphics Intel Arc. Configurations with up to 32GB LPDDR5X and SSSD PCIe 4.0 up to 1TB are available.
Despite the thinness, there’s a 65Wh battery inside, providing up to 21 hours of battery life, Acer claims. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while ports are all you need:
- 2× Thunderbolt 4
- 2× USB-A (one with charging function)
- 3.5mm audio jack

Copilot+ and Windows AI features
The Swift Edge 14 AI is among the new Copilot+ laptops that use NPUs to accelerate Windows AI features – such as Recall, Studio Effects and others.
It also comes with Acer’s signature enhancements: 1080p webcam, fingerprint scanner and a new noise-canceling system, Purified Voice 2.0, which removes background sounds during calls.

Swift Go: a little fatter, but also with AI

Besides the Swift Edge, Acer unveiled the updated Swift Go 14 and 16 AI -more traditional aluminum laptops with a choice between OLED and IPS displays. Models weigh between 1.38 and 1.6 kg, battery capacity is 64Wh, and configurations include up to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD.
- OLED displays: 14″ (1920×1200) or 16″ (2040×1280)
- New touchpad with contextual multimedia control
- Acer Assist AI application for working with documents via LLM
- Same Copilot+ features as Swift Edge
