Russian police began using second-generation Haval H9 SUVs for patrols

In Russia, police have started using second-generation Haval H9 SUVs for patrols. An Interior Ministry official vehicle with blue license plates and a distinctive color scheme has been spotted in Moscow.
This is the base Elite version, which comes with a sunroof and 18-inch wheels. The cost of such cars varies from 4.6 to 4.9 million rubles, not taking into account possible discounts. The model is gradually being added to the departmental fleet.
The Elite is the basic version of the Elite, which is equipped with a sunroof and 18-inch wheels.

The off-roaders are sourced from China and adapted for the Russian market, with a travel box instead of an external spare tire and Korean-made tires. This model replaces the first generation H9, which was previously assembled in the Tula region and was actively used by law enforcement agencies. Local assembly of the new vehicles has not been carried out yet, but they are gradually beginning to appear in the departmental fleet, replacing the old version of the H9.
The second-generation Haval H9 is a frame SUV that’s ideal for tough conditions. It has 224 mm of ground clearance, a 2,800-millimeter wheelbase, a 2.0-liter engine with 218 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive.
