New Mitsubishi ASX has fallen in price to 2.25 million rubles

The first-generation Mitsubishi ASX crossovers in restyled version, assembled in Japan, are available in Russia. They are supplied from the UAE under the parallel import scheme, and the starting price is 2.25 million rubles when ordered.

This makes the model more affordable compared to a number of Chinese rivals such as the Changan CS35 Plus New (from 2.57 million rubles), Chery Tiggo 4 (from 2.29 million rubles) and Geely Coolray (from 2.79 million rubles).

The base GLX package includes a 2.0-liter 150-horsepower engine, a variator, and all-wheel drive. Standard equipment includes LED headlights, light and rain sensors, air conditioning, cruise control, a touchscreen media system and an adjustable steering wheel.

The M-Line version, available for 2.39 million rubles on order, offers leather interior, climate control, a surround-view camera, keyless entry and seven airbags.

The crossovers are already available from dealers in Krasnodar, Samara, Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Tyumen, Irkutsk, Moscow and Ryazan. Prices for front-wheel drive versions in stock start from 2.7 million rubles, and all-wheel drive top-end configurations can reach 3.25 million rubles.
