The end of updates for Galaxy A14 and A14 5G

Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A14 5G will get One UI 7 this month or next month, and it will be their last major software update. While these devices will no longer receive new versions of the operating system, Samsung has promised to continue releasing security patches for at least two more years.

The two phones were announced in early 2023 with Android 13 out of the box and were promised two major Android updates – Android 14 and Android 15 – along with four years of security patches. So with the One UI 7 release of Android 15, devices will run out of major OS updates but will continue to receive important security patches.
