MediaTek Dimensity 9500: leaked specifications

MediaTek is preparing to release its new top-of-the-line Dimensity 9500 chipset, and judging by a leak from Digital Chat Station, we’re in for a real monster. The chip will be manufactured on TSMC’s N3P process (unlike the Dimensity 9400 and 9400+, which use N3E) and will get an architecture with no power efficient cores – just large cores.
The processor will consist of the following configuration: 1 Travis core, 3 Alto cores and 4 Gelas cores. Travis and Gelas are new generations of ARM’s Cortex-X and Cortex-A7xx cores. Alto is supposedly a modified core from the same lineup, but without definitive confirmation. The Travis core is rumored to run at over 4GHz.
An Alto core is rumored to be a new generation of Cortex-X and Cortex-A7xx cores from ARM.

Besides that, the chipset will get 16MB of L3 cache and another 10MB of system-level cache. It will support LPDDR5X RAM with up to 10,667 Mbps of bandwidth, as well as UFS 4.1 flash memory via a quad-line interface.
The chipset will also support LPDDR5X RAM with up to 10,667 Mbps of bandwidth, as well as UFS 4.1 flash memory via a quad-line interface.
Graphics are handled by the Immortalis-Drage GPU with improved ray tracing and reduced power consumption. AI processing is emphasized, with the NPU 9.0 neural processor delivering up to 100 TOPS. By comparison, the Dimensity 9400 is reported to deliver around 50 TOPS.
MediaTek is also preparing an earlier release of the Dimensity 8450 chip, while the Dimensity 9500 is expected closer to October or November 2025.
