MacBook Air M4 goes on sale at Citilink
By ForGeeks One of Russia’s largest electronics retailers, Citilink, is the first to open sales of the latest MacBook Air with Apple M4 chip. The devices have received a serious upgrade, from increased memory to support for Apple Intelligence features. At the same time, the price starts noticeably lower than previous generations.
The new 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch MacBook Airs are available now from Citilink’s online store. The base configuration now comes straight out of the box with 16GB of combined memory and the freshest Apple M4 as the processor. Apple claims it offers a performance boost of 23x over the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air. The 13-inch version has 8-core graphics, while the 15-inch model has a 10-core GPU.
What else surprised the new MacBook Air M4
The ultrabooks get a Liquid Retina display with up to 500 nits of brightness. The 13-inch model has a resolution of 2560×1664 pixels, while the 15-inch model has 2880×1864 pixels. The refresh rate of both versions is standard – 60 Hz. In addition, users get support for dual external displays with up to 6K resolution, something not previously available on the Air series.
The FaceTime HD camera is now 12-megapixel and features Center Stage – which automatically keeps the user in the center of the frame – and Desk View, which shows both the face and workspace from above. All of this makes MacBook Air the perfect choice for video calling and remote work.
The sound is pumped up, too, with four speakers on the low-end model and six with enhanced bass response on the 15-inch model. The battery, according to the manufacturer, can handle a standard day of active use without any problems.
Apple Intelligence and ChatGPT support out of the box
A major new feature is the introduction of Apple Intelligence. It’s an AI-powered feature set that includes Writing Tools with ChatGPT integration, emoji generation (Genmoji), image creation via Image Playground, and enhanced interaction with Siri voice assistant. Now you can instantly switch between voice and text commands, which is especially useful for work and everyday tasks.
Configurations, colors and prices
Among the available configurations at Citilink, you can choose between 16GB and 24GB of combined memory, as well as a 256GB or 512GB SSD. Available colors include Silver, Midnight, Starlight, and the new Sky Blue, which replaces the classic Space Gray.

With all the upgrades, the MacBook Air M4 looks like one of Apple’s most balanced laptops in recent years – especially given the noticeable drop in starting price.
