OnePlus has unveiled an ultra-thin magnetic powerbank

OnePlus continues to evolve its accessory ecosystem and is officially entering the MagSafe era. The new OnePlus Slim Magnetic Power Bank is a 5000 mAh battery with built-in magnets, allowing you to charge Qi2 enabled smartphones, including iPhones and some Android devices.
Compactness and versatility
Externally, the new powerbank resembles existing solutions such as the Anker 621 Power Bank, but has one important advantage – size. OnePlus has managed to make the device thinner and lighter than most of its competitors: 96mm long, 69mm wide and just 9mm thick, which is less than the 11.5mm of the Anker. Weight is also lower, at 120 grams versus 129 grams.
The company attributes this result to the use of high energy density batteries, N52M magnets, and aluminum housing, which reduces thickness. While there are already even thinner solutions on the market, such as the Torras (7.62mm), OnePlus’s achievement remains impressive.

Lack of SuperVOOC, but extensive functionality
Despite its compact size, the new powerbank lacks the SuperVOOC fast charging that has become a OnePlus hallmark. That’s not surprising, however, as the device is focused on universal compatibility with a variety of smartphones.
Charging is via USB-C, making the accessory convenient not only for the OnePlus 13, but also for any other device with wireless or wired charging.
Price and Availability
OnePlus Slim Magnetic Power Bank is available for order now at OnePlus.com for $70. Until the end of April, you can get it bundled with the OnePlus 13 and a magnetic case for $50 on top of the smartphone’s price. OnePlus 13 buyers who order through the official website will also receive a $20 discount coupon.
It’s worth keeping in mind that buying the bundle is not compatible with other exchange (trade-in) programs, so it’s best to weigh your options before placing an order.
