Threads is finally getting a chronological feed

Threads, the social app created by Mark Zuckerberg, has finally gotten a long-awaited new feature that is sure to make it much more appealing to current and new users.

General Manager Mark Zuckerberg confirmed the news on his channel:Threads»ve started rolling out a chronological feed option. You’ll only see the people you follow there, and we’ve also added translations.

This means you’ll finally have a feed of posts from people you follow, rather than a feed of random verified users.

Which means you’ll finally have a feed of posts from people you follow, rather than a feed of random verified users.

To see the new tab, you’ll need to install the Threads app on your phone and update it to the latest version, specifically version 293 on Google Play or the App Store. Once updated, go into the app and you’ll see two tabs. Tap the last one, and you’ll only see messages from the accounts you follow.

Here’s what you need to do.

According to Zuckerberg’s post on his channel, translations have also been added to Threads. You can get a translation by clicking the small button in the bottom right corner of a Threads post.

Threads launched with a very sparse feature set, and so far the feed has been filled exclusively with user posts and brands that the algorithm determines whether you wanted it or not.
