The OnePlus 13 launch date has been officially announced

The company has already started revealing key specifications of the device, including details of its camera. The OnePlus 13 will feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and advanced cooling system shown in a recent teaser.

The camera, like its predecessor, was developed in collaboration with Hasselblad and includes a triple module with Hasselblad’s signature color reproduction. The main sensor is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 with optical stabilization (OIS) support. There’s also a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree angle of view. Instead of the 64-megapixel telephoto camera used in the OnePlus 12, the new model will have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 telescopic lens with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and f/2.6 aperture.

The company also claims that the new periscopic lens is lighter and thinner than previous generations. Examples of photos taken with it in Master mode show natural tones and high detail in subjects.
