Apple released watchOS 11.0.1: fixed fast battery drain and screen issues

Apple has unveiled an update watchOS 11.0.1 to its watchOS 11 system released in September. The update is available for free download on iPhones running iOS 18 via the Apple Watch app under Main > Software Update. To install, the watch must be charged to at least 50% and be on a charger.

Main fixes in watchOS 11.0.1

• Fixed an issue with unexpected reboots.
• Fixed a bug that could cause the Music app to terminate when loading media content.
• Fixed rapid battery drain.
• Fixed touchscreen unresponsiveness on Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10 and Ultra 2.
• Resolved an issue with the Messages app closing unexpectedly when replying to a message using the Apple Watch’s shared face.
