Xiaomi Mix Fold3 will get a UD-camera

The Xiaomi Mix Fold lineup is expected to get a new smartphone later this summer —Mix Fold3. The upcoming device is rumored to get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and periscopic camera, as well as a waterproof case with a proper IP rating. A reliable Digital Chat Station insider shared the latest leaks about the Mix Fold3. There is supposed to be a camera under the display (UD) on the main folding screen, which was not the case in the first two generations of the Mix Fold.

The new leak also confirms previous reports about the 5x periscopic lens, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 50W wireless charging. New information is that Xiaomi may also be working on an Explorer edition concept foldable phone, which could be introduced alongside the Mix Fold3. Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Mix Fold 3 in August.
