“The magic of music haptics is that it makes music accessible to all listeners, even those who may not have heard it before, including deaf or hard-of-hearing users,” Apple says on its website.

When the feature is active, a special icon will appear on the screen that can be tapped to turn off the vibrations. According to the company, the number of tracks optimized for the Taptic Engine reaches “millions.” Some of them are collected in the Haptics Hits, Haptics Bets, Haptics Bass and Haptics Vibrations playlists.
The feature is available on iPhone 12 and newer models, with the exception of the iPhone SE 3. Playlists can be found on the dedicated Apple Music page.
