Computex 2024: MSI shows ten new notebooks at once
By ForGeeks At Computex 2024, MSI unveiled ten laptops from four branded series. All of them are designed for different tasks and are powered by powerful Intel and AMD processors. Some models were created in collaboration with the Mercedes-Benz automobile brand.
The MSI Prestige series (2024) is characterized by its light weight and high-capacity batteries. For example, the new Prestige 13 AI+ Evo weighs just 990 grams but has a 75Wh battery. Models in this series feature Intel Core Ultra processors, 13-, 14-, and 16-inch screens, 5-megapixel webcams, and support for the MSI Pen 2 stylus.
The Creator series includes the Stealth A16 AI+ and Creator A16 AI+. They feature AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors, Radeon 800M graphics cards, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 discrete graphics cards. The notebooks feature magnesium alloy chassis and Cooler Boost 5 cooling technology.
In addition, MSI has released laptops in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz. These are the Stealth 18 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport with an 18-inch display and a similar model with a 16-inch display. They feature design elements of Mercedes-Benz cars with branded nameplates and logos.
The two laptops are powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and an RTX 4080 graphics card. They have two DDR5 module slots with a maximum of 96GB and two M.2 SSD slots (NVMe, PCIe Gen 4×4). Sound is provided by two 2W speakers and a pair of subwoofers. Battery capacity on both models is 99.9Wh.

The laptops also feature an RGB-backlit SteelSeries keyboard, Intel Killer NIC (Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4), IR-illuminated webcam, fingerprint scanner, and Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A connectors. The older model also has an additional USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port.

The 18-inch model has a mini-LED matrix with a 3840×2400-pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 100 percent DCI-P3 gamut coverage. The 16-inch model has an OLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate.
The company also announced three Modern series models with 13-, 14-, and 15-inch screens, but their specs will be announced later.
