WhatsApp will have a useful feature for important conversations

The beta version of WhatsApp has introduced an interesting new feature for group chat participants that will help those who often miss important discussions. It’s a reminder feature that works like an alarm clock to notify in advance. The WaBetaInfo portal has demonstrated how it looks like.
The new feature, added in a test build of WhatsApp 2.24.12.5 beta, is called “Reminders for Public Groups.” It allows administrators to create automatic notifications of upcoming events for everyone in the group. For example, in a student chat, a teacher can set a reminder about an upcoming exam so that all students see it in advance.

In the current beta version, the innovation allows you to notify chat participants a day, two hours or 30 minutes before an event. You can also see a geolocation icon in the screenshot, which probably means you can add the event address to the reminder.
According to WaBetaInfo, the new feature will be available in one of the next stable versions of the messenger.
