MSI introduced a fast QD-OLED gaming monitor with burn-in protection – MAG 271QPX
By ForGeeks MSI has unveiled the MAG 271QPX gaming monitor, which utilizes Samsung’s third-generation quantum dot OLED matrix. In addition to its advanced specifications, the new product also stands out for its claimed high screen life, which should be guaranteed by exclusive explosion-proof technology.
The MSI MAG 271QPX features a 26.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a 240Hz refresh rate. The panel has a response time of 0.03 ms (GtG) and a brightness of 250 nits, up to 1,000 nits in HDR. Among other features aimed at improving image quality in gaming, the vendor highlights ALLM and VRR.
The display uses OLED Care 2.0 technology to delay residual glow. It includes pixel shifting, reduces brightness when displaying static images for long periods of time, recognizes black bars at the beginning and end of videos, and supports several other such methods. The set of interfaces includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, USB Type-C connector and a headphone jack.
