“Yandex” announced the beginning of sales of laptops under its own brand Lunnen
By ForGeeks Yandex has announced the start of sales of its own-branded laptops — Lunnen, which will be available exclusively on the Yandex Market platform. There are two models to choose from, the Ground 15 and Ground 16, which feature cutting-edge AMD Ryzen processors, plenty of RAM, and Windows 11.

The two laptops feature an IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Meanwhile, the younger model has a diagonal of 15.6 inches, while the older model is 16.1 inches. In terms of hardware, both models are based on Ryzen 5 5500U (Ground 15) and Ryzen 7 5800U (Ground 16) processors, working together with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.

The manufacturer has included a built-in webcam with a microphone, and the Ground 16 also got a fingerprint scanner. Interfaces include a USB Type-C port (Ground 16 has a pair), three USB Type-A ports, and HDMI.
The two devices are housed in a sturdy metal case that is 18.6mm and 17.8mm thick and weigh 1.7kg and 1.8kg respectively for the older and younger versions. Yandex has also designed several color options for the cases: Silver Sea, Mid Gray, Indigo Sea and Light Gray.
The Lunnen Ground 15 is priced at R42,490, while the Ground 16 is available at R47,490, including the current discount. In addition, each buyer will be able to get a three-month subscription to the Amediatek and Kinopoisk platforms.
In the future, Yandex plans to expand the Lunnen brand range and produce other hardware, including desktops and tablets.
